Astaro Offers 50% Off to Disgruntled SonicWall Customers
Users trade in SonicWall appliances for 50% off Astaro in the Sonic Switch promotion
December 4, 2008 (Wilmington, MA) [PR2WEB]—In response to the recent glitch in
SonicalWall’s email security server which left countless customers exposed to
spam, phishing and malware threats, Astaro, a leading vendor of security
appliances (www.astaro.com), today announced
the start of the Sonic Switch promotion: get 50% off Astaro appliances with the
trade-in of any SonicWall appliance.
Through the Sonic Swith Promotion, SonicWall users now have the option to trade in their appliance for 50% off the list price on all Astaro hardware, software and maintenance for 3 or 5 year agreements. In addition, Astaro will extend SonicWall users’ existing contract terms, ensuring that no customer will lose money on the deal.
“For most organizations, mail security is not an option; it simply needs to work well at all times,” explains Alex Quinonez, Astaro VP of Sales. “We’ve put together this promotion for SonicWall customers that are upset with their recent lack of mail security and would like to move to a more stable mail solution.”
Astaro mail security features patented, reputation-based filtering which significantly enhances spam detection while minimizing the misclassification of legitimate email as spam. Additionally, both Astaro Security Gateway and Astaro Mail Gateway now feature an upgraded User Portal that allows for management of individual quarantines and whitelists by all employees, reducing the time and effort spent by network administrators on the same tasks. Astaro is the only company that currently offers free email encryption performed transparently at the gateway without the need for employee action.
